Price discrimination

In today’s scenario there are price discrimination in the in every field or every market, one of the major reason can be the population, income, taste and preferences etc. Price discrimination is basically when a producer exploits the characteristics of demand so that he can sell the same product and service at various prices unrelated to its cost, in other words when a manufacturer sell same product and service to different customers at different prices which can be much more of slight more depending upon the demand or the customer in the market.

For example
Inox charges different prices to its customers regarding seats like silver is the lowest gold is medium and platinum or golden recliner is the highest price but the product is same. Since there are different customer in the market with different income and different choices.
