Combinations that leads to same utility

INDIFFERNCE CURVES:-

Indifference curves are the various combinations that give same level of satisfaction to the consumer. Indifference curves is based upon the utility of the consumer that gives maximum level of satisfaction with the combination of several products.

       Indifference curves are the various combinations that yields to same utility. Indifference curve is convex to the origin.

Ex:- 
  
   Let us take example of two goods.
Rice and wheat if the price of rice increases we tend to buy low wheat in order to get the same utility derived from both the products i.e., rice and wheat.

Characteristics of Indifference curves:-

1. Indifference curves are concave in nature.
2. Indifference curves deals with various     combination of two products.
3. Indifference curves helps to show the maximum utility derived from the two products.
